The purpose of the Kentlake PTSA Music Committee is to provide service excellence to enable students to maximize their high school music experience.

The Kentlake PTSA Music Committee supports students in the following ways:

• Provide financial support to supplement music program operating budgets and promote musical education and instruction in the community
• Provide stimulating partnerships between high school community resources, businesses, professional organizations to encourage academic student excellence in music programs
• Provide diverse fundraising opportunities for students to enable participation in music experiences beyond those supported by the Kent School District
• Provide recognition and scholarships to students participating in the programs

The Kentlake PTSA Music Committee has raised many thousands of dollars for use in funding musical exhibitions, adjudication, scholarships, music, instruments and equipment. This is facilitated with efforts of many music student parents and volunteers who give their time and resources to make this all happen.
